David de la Rocha is a student in the Master of Urban & Regional Planning program at Portland State University. He wonders why he hadn't done this years ago, for he is enjoying it so. He is also a captain in the Air Force Reserve, serving with the 939th Rescue Wing. He is the husband of Andrine, and the father of Petra & Tasche (aren't they adorable!?!). In his spare time, David is the principle second tubist for the Fighting Instruments of Kharma Marching Chamber Band/Orchestra. He really enjoys time with his beautiful Jezebel while playing in Chautauqua shows. David recently worked the biggest Temp job of his life, at the U.S. Embassy in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.  To see a glimpse of a few things he has experienced in his time off, click here.
